Cooking beans on a grill fired with natural charcoal results in a taste
sensation unmatched by other methods. Below is 2 lbs. of adult Limas
cooked in a large Dutch Oven on the grill. The magic ingredients are
simply salt, pepper, a dash or four of Cajun seasoning, onion chopped in big
pieces, a couple of large garlic cloves smashed, a quart Ziploc bag full of
leftover smoked Boston Butt pork shoulder, and some leftover smoked pork
sausage. Hey,, it's something to do in the outdoors. This was so
delicious, it would make a bulldog hug a hound.
